The Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), which marks its 30th Anniversary this year, was created with the aim to promote good-neighborly relations and mutually advantageous economic cooperation among the States of the region for the well being of their peoples and to serve peace, stability and prosperity in the wider Black Sea.
The BSEC PERMIS is gravely concerned by the recent developments in its region that do not bode well for the ideals and objectives of the Organization, nor for regional and international peace and stability.
It maintains the hope that dialogue and diplomacy will prevail for an urgent ceasefire to stop the bloodshed and human suffering and return to an environment conducive to constructive economic engagement for the benefit of all Member States and the region as a whole.
