We are deeply saddened by learning about the catastrophic torrential rains which swept through villages in southeastern Bulgaria and on the Black Sea coast and resulted in flooding, human casualties, massive material destruction and evacuation of the local population. We convey our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and to the grieving families of the victims of this devastating natural disaster and wish a speedy recovery to all injured.
