Message of Secretary General

Dear Readers,
I feel particularly honored to announce hereby the beginning today of my term as the Secretary General of the Permanent International Secretariat of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC PERMIS).

As you may well know, BSEC was established in 1992 and besides being the oldest Organization in this geostrategic region that connects three continents, it  has asserted itself as a prominent actor in promoting peace, stability and prosperity, encouraging friendly and good-neighborly relations in the Black Sea area. It is serving as an important forum for cooperation in a wide range of domains to the benefit of its 13 Member States and is broadly collaborating with other regional organizations on various projects of common interest.

Being aware of  the important responsibilities I have as Secretary General, I am committed to work to the best of my ability, so that together with the esteemed Member States and benefiting of their most valuable support as well as of that of the Secretariat Staff, we contribute to the further development and strengthening of this Organization and of the economic cooperation in the Black Sea area.

Dear Readers, as has been the tradition for the past years, we will continue to share with you on our website the activities and accomplishments of the Organization and will be at your disposal for more detailed  information if needed.

For the sake of further developing our website, please be informed that we would value and welcome any comments or views you might have and are eager to respond to them.
